Mr. Bo Majors treats adolescents and adults. He enjoys supporting individuals who are experiencing life and career transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and panic disorder, as well as couples who are facing challenging moments in their relationships. Drawing from his experiences in both the mental health field and coaching in a professional corporate setting as well as his advanced education in business, Mr. Majors has a special interest and passion for working with professionals from high pressure work environments (e.g., entrepreneurs, corporate executives, attorneys, finance officers, physicians, etc.) who feel stressed out and pulled in many directions as a result of attempting to juggle the demands of both their professional and private lives. 

  • Mr. Majors believes in a collaborative approach to setting goals and establishing a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship. Drawing from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Exposure Therapy, Mr. Majors empowers clients by creating an individualized roadmap so that the client might find meaning and fulfillment in their life.

  • Mr. Majors received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. Joseph College in St. Benedict, Louisiana. Mr. Majors earned the equivalent of a Master’s Degree in Theology from the Teresianum and a Master’s Degree in Spirituality from the Pontifical Institute of Spirituality in Rome, Italy. He earned a Master of Social Work degree from Yeshiva University in New York City, New York. Mr. Majors is also a candidate to receive an executive coaching certificate from the International Coaching Federation and a Master’s Degree in Business, MBA, from the Jack Walsh Management Institute at Strayer University in Washington, DC.

    Mr. Majors has extensive clinical experience providing individual and couples counseling. He has worked in an outpatient clinic adult day program, corporate environments, and with inmates on Riker’s Island in New York City. Mr. Majors has most recently worked in pediatrics in short-term crisis model counseling. Mr. Majors is licensed in the state of Texas (68946).

  • Mr. Majors loves spending time with his family and Bull Terrier, Crispy. He loves studying languages and reading. Mr. Majors loves to cook for others and is a dormant pianist. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
