Casey specializes in supporting both adults and adolescents. Her primary clinical interests include depression, trauma, and various anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, health anxiety, and generalized anxiety. She also has special interests in supporting adolescents with concerns related to self-esteem, relationships and family dynamics, young adults navigating transitions, and perinatal mood and anxiety concerns experienced by pregnant and postpartum mothers. 

  • Casey is dedicated to building a trusting and therapeutic relationship with her clients, grounded in the belief that individuals have the agency to shape their lives and the inherent capacity for growth. She fosters an environment centered on empathy, trust, collaboration, and non-judgment, providing a safe space for clients to process, gain insight, and heal. Approaching her work through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, Casey tailors her counseling to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her clinical practice integrates a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion techniques, to support lasting healing and personal development.

  • Casey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Biblical Studies, from BIOLA University in California, and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas State University. She has received specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). She has also received specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Casey is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #90550) in the state of Texas.

    Throughout her career, Casey has developed a diverse clinical background, working with a wide range of populations. She has extensive experience delivering evidence-based interventions in both inpatient and community mental health settings, supporting children, adolescents and adults managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, substance use, and other mental health challenges. Additionally, Casey has worked with at-risk youth, foster and adoption services, and teen mothers, providing compassionate, individualized support to those navigating unique and complex life circumstances. Her professional and personal experiences have deepened her passion for holding space for others and reinforcing her belief that healing and meaning can emerge even in the face of life's most difficult challenges.

  • In her free time, Casey loves spending quality time with her two sons and husband, connecting with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors, exploring new restaurants, listening to live music, reading, and watching classic 1950s films.
