Erin’s primary clinical interests include treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and trauma. Erin also enjoys helping clients with life transitions, relationship concerns, challenging family dynamics, and emotional dysregulation. Erin specializes in working with adult clients, and has a particular passion for working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma.

Erin’s primary goal is to create a safe and empowering environment where clients can gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in a balance of empathy, fostering self-compassion, developing coping skills, and encouraging growth in areas clients identify. Erin believes in the power of pausing to celebrate the small wins along the way. Erin utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness in her work.

Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to earning her master’s degree, Erin spent several years working closely with children and families in the foster care system. After completing her master’s degree, Erin has worked in a hospital, group private practice, and a treatment center providing care across multiple levels of acuity, including intensive out patient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment. Erin has experience providing individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention. Due to her experience serving multiple roles as a case manager, therapist, team lead, and clinical manager across various settings, she has a deep understanding of navigating complex systems and the impact it can have on our healing journey.
Erin has had training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Erin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas (108806).

Erin loves being in nature – hiking, camping, a quick walk outside, she enjoys it all. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and chocolate lab.
